Registration Opens annually in early November
New players are accepted in order of registration, and encouraged to register EARLY. Historically we have only been able to accept 8-12 new players each season - and are typically full by Feb 15th. New players who register but can not be accepted due to the league being full will be refunded entirely for their registration fees paid, and placed on the spare list. Successful new applicants will be assigned to existing teams (using a draft process) to teams with less than 15 players. This occurs in late April.
We DO NOT accept team entries into our league.
Once the league is full, the spare list application form will open. Players are encouraged to apply for the spare list to be added to our data base, and will be emailed when registration opens for the following season. Spares are called as replacement players for games when a team can't field enough regular (paid) players (due to vacations, injuries, work commitments, hangovers, etc). There is no cost to be a spare - but there are rules. Spares can not pitch in our league, and they can only spare for the same team for a maximum of 3 games per season. You are, however, permitted to spare for more than one team.
Returning players have until February 15th to register in order to guarantee their spot in the league . Returning players will be assigned to their
previous team unless they request otherwise.

Note - The LMBL does not issue refunds to players after the season begins (due to injury, relocation, etc). If replacement players are required, money exchanges, if
any, are to be done directly between incoming and outgoing players with the
team manager as the point person. The manager will inform the Registrar, via
email, the date that a replacement player starts and will cc both incoming and
outgoing player as acknowledgement that all parties agree.
