Reed's Walk-Off Picture Perfect Ending In Brewers's Victory Over Blue Jays

  • Brewers took their game in dramatic walk-off fashion, thanks to a walk-off single at the end of the game to topple Blue Jays. The game was tied at six with Brewers batting in the bottom of the seventh when Greg Reed singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
  • Brewers earned the victory despite allowing Blue Jays to score five runs in the first inning. Blue Jays's big inning was driven by singles by Christopher Cox and Dan Wylie and a fielder's choice by Eric VanBart.
  • Blue Jays fired up the offense in the first inning. Blue Jays scored one run when Cox singled.
  • Scott Dunlop led things off on the hill for BrewersDunlop lasted two innings, allowing five hits and six runs while striking out two.
  • Jason Cheese was on the pitcher's mound for Blue Jays. The hurler allowed zero hits and zero runs over three innings, striking out five. Eric Kirkpatrick and VanBart entered the game from the bullpen, throwing three innings and one-third of an inning respectively.
  • Torey Egan (Spare) led Brewers with two hits in three at bats.
  • Andrew Macrae went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Blue Jays in hits.
