Minor Baseball Fundraising Opportunity
Submitted By LMBL Registrar on Thursday, March 01, 2018
Applications are now being accepted for any Minor Baseball Team/Association to operate a raffle draw and silent auction fundraiser in conjunction with the Annual LMBL Banquet and AGM.  This event is scheduled to be held on Friday October 19th 2018 at the Willows Golf & Country Club.

Details are as follow:

As part of the LMBL's initiative to give back to our community in support of grass-roots baseball within the London and surrounding area, we are offering the opportunity for any Minor Baseball Team to use our Year-End Banquet and Annual General Meeting (AGM) as a venue to raise funds for their team or association.

Interested parties should apply via the website application form.  Deadline for applications is July 31st 2018, after which time the Executive will review all applications and select the winning candidate by Aug 31 2018.  Please include as much detail as you see fit on how the funds will be used to benefit youth baseball within our community.

Also be advised the winning applicant is responsible to collect, solicit, and bring all raffle prizes and silent auction items.  They are also responsible to bring peripherals such as tickets, raffle sheets, cash box, float, and adequate volunteers to run fundraiser (note - volunteers must be 19+ since this is a licensed venue). Volunteers can also opt to register for a dinner meal in advance at the guest rate of $25 each (steak, chicken, or vegetarian options).  The LMBL Executive will work closely with the winning entry to ensure the event runs smoothly and generates as much profit for youth baseball as possible - keeping in mind the quantity and quality of the prizes you can collect will have a significant impact on ticket sales!
